Juvederm
Juvederm is a premier Allergan product used for the treatment of wrinkles and restoring volume and facial contour.
It is a gel-like injectable that contains hyaluronic acid, a naturally occurring substance that promotes collagen production. The procedure takes about 30 to 60 minutes, results can be noticeable immediately and last one to two years depending on the patient.
Juvederm is FDA-approved and safe for all skin types. There are several products in the Juvederm family, each with different concentrations and bonding of hyaluronic acid, and each designed for specific areas of the face.
Restylane
Restylane is a high-quality Galderma product known for it’s effectiveness – it was one of the first FDA approved dermal fillers. It also contains hyaluronic acid, but may also contain lidocaine for added comfort during treatment.
The procedure using Restylane typically takes around 30 minutes, and results are seen immediately, but improvement will also continue to be seen over the following days. Not only does Restylane provide immediate results, it will also continue to show improvements over time and with repeat treatments.
Restylane also has variations of products to suit different needs, and patients, which will be selected based on provider recommendation.
SkinVive by Juvederm
Skinvive is also a high-quality Allergan product! It is the first and only FDA-approved hyaluronic acid (HA) microdroplet injectable in the US to improve skin smoothness of the cheeks. This product increases hydration to improve skin smoothness and provide a lasting glow.
Treatments take about 30-60 minutes, results in skin texture are noticed immediately and continue to improve for weeks after. Results last for six months or longer.
