How Are Wrinkles Reduced?
Wrinkles are creases, folds, and ridges in the skin that are a natural – and often dreaded- part of aging. Sun exposure, smoking, genetics and other factors can influence the severity and onset of wrinkles.
Wrinkles are reduced using ‘Neurotoxins’, or ‘Tox’. These neurotoxins are injected into the muscles in the face to limit how much they can move and thus keep the wrinkles from forming.
While the term ‘Neurotoxin’ sounds intimidating, Vibrance MedSpa uses only the best tox available. These common treatments are safe, and the effect stays where the provider places the product. The tox is used to relax muscles by blocking signals telling the muscle to move. The effects are typically temporary but do last for 3 to 6 months, or more, depending on the individual.
Neurotoxins are not only used for cosmetic purposes, but are routinely used for pain management, such as for migraines. Vibrance MedSpa currently only offers this treatment for cosmetic purposes, however some patients have noticed that they do experience a reduction in the frequency of headaches they have when receiving treatments.

Botox
Botox is a well-known neurotoxin produced by Allergan. It is well known as a high-quality brand.
Typically, you can start to see effects within 48 hours and full results at two weeks. Results can last 3 – 4 months depending on your unique body chemistry.

Dysport
Dysport is a Galderma product that is also known for being a high-quality, safe, and effective treatment for wrinkle reduction.
Dysport is known for ‘the Dysport Glow’ – it’s natural looking, fast acting, and long lasting.
Timing of results is very similar to Botox.
Xeomin
Another safe, effective, and – of course- premier product is Xeomin, made by Merz.
This is also a treatment known for it’s fast effects!
Jeuveau
Jeuveau, or ‘Newtox’, is one of four premier neurotoxins we offer for wrinkle reduction treatments. It is an Evolus product, and it takes about the same time as botox for results – approximately two weeks, depending on the patient.
